A plate of crispy golden calamari rings, freshly fried and served with a side of lemon wedges.

Ingredients:

  • 500g Fishta Squid Rings, cleaned
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ½ tsp black pepper (for coating)
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

 

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the squid rings with salt and pepper, then set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the coating: In a container, mix flour, cornstarch, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the squid: Add the squid rings to the container, cover, and shake until fully coated.
  4. Fry in hot oil over medium heat until golden and crispy (about 2-3 minutes).
  5. Drain excess oil on paper towels and serve hot with a dipping sauce.
