Ingredients:
- 1 whole Fishta Bangus
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb-sized piece ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp calamansi juice (or lemon juice)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Banana leaves or aluminum foil (for grilling)
Instructions:
- Prepare the stuffing – Mix tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, calamansi juice, black pepper, and salt.
- Stuff the bangus – Fill the fish’s cavity with the mixture, then secure it with a string or toothpicks.
- Wrap in banana leaves or foil to prevent sticking.
- Grill over medium heat for 6-8 mins per side, until cooked.
- Serve with spicy vinegar dip and enjoy with rice!
