Crispy Fish and Chips on a plate, served with golden fries, fresh lettuce, and lemon slices, with a side of tartar sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Fishta Cobbler Fillet, cut into 4 pieces
  • Cooking oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1½ tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ¼ tbsp black pepper
  • ¼ tbsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 cup cold beer (or cold soda for a non-alcoholic version)
  • French fries
  • Lettuce
  • Lemon slices

 

Instructions:

  1. Make the batter – In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Slowly add cold beer while stirring until smooth.
  2. Coat the fish – Lightly dust the fish pieces with flour, then dip them into the batter until fully covered.
  3. Fry the fish – Heat oil in a pan. Fry the fish until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve – Plate the crispy fish with fries, lettuce, and lemon slices. Enjoy with ketchup or tartar sauce!
