Ingredients:
- 1 Fishta Cobbler Fillet, cut into 4 pieces
- Cooking oil (for frying)
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 1½ tbsp baking powder
- ½ tbsp salt
- ¼ tbsp black pepper
- ¼ tbsp paprika (optional)
- 1 cup cold beer (or cold soda for a non-alcoholic version)
- French fries
- Lettuce
- Lemon slices
Instructions:
- Make the batter – In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Slowly add cold beer while stirring until smooth.
- Coat the fish – Lightly dust the fish pieces with flour, then dip them into the batter until fully covered.
- Fry the fish – Heat oil in a pan. Fry the fish until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
- Serve – Plate the crispy fish with fries, lettuce, and lemon slices. Enjoy with ketchup or tartar sauce!
