Ingredients:
- 500g Fishta Bangus Belly
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup calamansi juice (or lemon juice)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for balance)
- ¼ cup cooking oil
- 1 tbsp butter (for extra flavor)
- Salt to taste
- Chopped spring onions or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Marinate bangus belly in soy sauce, calamansi, black pepper, and garlic for 15–30 mins.
- Fry bangus belly in hot oil until golden brown, then set aside.
- Sauté onions in the same pan, reserving some for garnish.
- Simmer the marinade with water and sugar for 3 mins. Add butter.
- Combine bangus belly with the sauce and cook for 3-5 mins.
- Garnish with onions and serve with rice. Enjoy!
